Installing Vuex NES

Step-by-step guide for installing and configuring Vuex NES (Never-Ending Support) as part of Vue 2 Essentials, including support for both Vuex 3.x and 4.x versions.

Installation Steps

Follow these three simple steps to install Vuex NES:

  1. Update your package.json
  2. Create or update your .npmrc file
  3. Install & Run

Detailed Instructions

1. Package.json Configuration

Update your package.json with the following Vuex references:

  }
}

Note: Using Vuex 4.x? We also support Vuex with @neverendingsupport/vuex@4.1.1

2. Authentication Setup

Create or update your .npmrc file with the following content:

@neverendingsupport:registry=https://registry.nes.herodevs.com/npm/pkg/
//registry.nes.herodevs.com/npm/pkg/:_authToken=<NES_ACCESS_TOKEN>

Replace <NES_ACCESS_TOKEN> with your actual access token.

3. Installation and Running

Install your dependencies and run the service:

npm install
npm run serve

After completing these steps, you can run your integration tests against NES Vuex!
